Whiskey's is owned by the same folks who run The Pour House, which is a good thing in terms of decor and atmosphere. However, it spins out of control on Friday and Saturday night because of the sheer number of people that come in, stand up, and gab at each other. It pays the bar well to pack them in, but it downgrades the experience considerably. This is one of the most crowded bars in Boston. To counter this: if you count the number of beers on tap, they offer a grand total of 18! A definite college pick-up spot, Whiskey's also offers enticing specialty nights like Maxim Night, where very attractive models come in to be gawked at and drooled over. The setup is more suited for groups of four or more friends to come in and sit down to drink rather than hover around the bar. Mainline Collegeville, ages 21-28.
