The Scoop - Editorial Review by JC Kensington

Tequila Rain promises spring break 52 weeks a year. The club has a great layout complete with a small patio for smokers or people looking to cool off. There are many tables in the lounge area to chill with friends and grab a drink. The back room has a good sized dance floor and a bar that runs the length of it. My favorite part of this bar/dance club is the dance platform where ladies can climb up with their friends and showcase their dance skills. On Friday and Saturday nights the dance floor is packed with 21-25 year olds looking to have a good time and show off their moves. Drink prices are average for the area; they do offer a number of frozen pre-made drinks for those who do not drink beer or looking to cool down. The quality of the DJ varies from time to time. Tequila Rain plays tunes all night that everyone knows, it varies from 50cent, to Madonna (mostly old school) and the 80?s hit you were also screaming out at your 8th grade dance. If you?re looking for a fun night this is the place to go. Bring your dance moves and your sense of humor.

Cover is 5 bucks on Friday and Saturday nights, it also gets you access to Jillian?s next door (owned by the same folks) . It?s generally packed during Red Sox games. It?s not a bad place to watch a game with several flat screen TV?s and a limited number of booths with their own TV?s.

It is packed in the summer with the line out the door and sometimes down the street.
