Vox is among the most stylish bars in all of Boston. Its sleek high-def screens, interesting ancient latin alphabet decor, and snappy design (particularly upstairs, which could be called ravishing) is appealing and classy. The martinis are choice, the drink list is second to none and the service is always friendly and accomodating. Negatives are that the food is grossly overpriced and at times bad, and the crowds that gather here are usually toting big egos. Still, as an afternoon or early PM bar, this is a catch. Sitting in a booth around 6 o'clock on a weekday with friends is the recommended strategy, as Vox will become densely populated around the weekend. 25-36 age groups.
